Physical Education
Our physical education (P.E.) curriculum is broken down into three developmental levels. Each level includes activities appropriate for the majority of the students in that particular stage of physical development. Classes are sometimes divided into smaller groups, to provide individual students with an appropriate level of challenge. Body management and listening skills are stressed in the first developmental level (grades K-1), fundamental skills in the second (grades 2-5) and specialized skills in the third (grades 6-8). In addition, a continuous emphasis is placed on developing good overall physical health and appropriate fitness goals.
