Technology
Technology at Keys School is viewed as an essential tool, and it is incorporated at all grade levels. Beginning in the lower grades, computer instruction focuses on building overall technical literacy through a variety of curriculum-centered activities. As students progress, more functional tools, such as word processing and multimedia presentation tools are addressed. By middle school, technology skills are approached from an Information Literacy perspective. Students learn how to effectively locate, analyze and present information. They use Internet search tools; outlining and organizing programs; and a variety of multimedia and word processing tools to create movies, reports, web sites, and presentations.
